"Вольф" из Италии (организатор первого PECM) хотеть сделать следующий PECM наследного года (в 2014) в Италии (около озера "Комо" ). скажите пожалуйста что вы о том думаете?

Enough of torture for you . I did my best with Russian and still have feeling I did horrible job . My aim is to find out what is your opinion about possible PECM next year in Italy and how many of you would be able (would want) to make trip like this. From Riga it takes about 2150km (one way) that means 22 hours of driving to get there. That is a lot so I got an idea. Maybe interesting for you as well.

In case you would like to add 75km to the trip (and burn 1,5 hour from your live tive more behind steering wheel) I can manage small detour and few stopovers in Czech Republic for you.

"Detour" and first stopover would be through "Zaječí" (http://www.vinarstviukaplicky.cz/). We have been there together with Italian guys in 2011 on our way to Poland and we all liked it. Zaječí is about 1250km from Riga (14hrs). First 7 photos in this gallery were made there. This stopover can be skipped completely in case wine cellars are not any interesting for you. No problem.

Than it would continue to Prague (200kms - 2hrs) as another stopover where is possible to stay to see the city for how long you think is enough . To find decent place that will not ruin your budget for few nights should not be any problem and some decent restaurant to eat/drink is again not an issue at all.

After all we can together move to Italy to that Lago di Como (remaining 785kms - 8hrs driving).

So this is it. Just an idea that came to my mind after discussion on Facebook. So if you want you can discuss whole PECM thing in this topic as well (not just my offered detour ). I really would like to know your opinion.

Oh... as i already write downt in PECM group of FB -

My opinion is that PECM had tradition - every two years. It is time that organizators need for realy good event ...but other side of this is that two years for us, celica owners can be too much to wait and plan holidays...because this PECM i had SO MUCH emails wiith broken plans and words- i will not come...

I don`t know, maybe it is good idead if people are coming, maybe not, because now they are saying yes and then they will say NO !
About me, ofcourse i want to go, ofcourse with my car, BUT i don`t know for sure that i will come and will have so much money for that trip and i reeeeeeeeeally don`t know about my celica for that long trip, i`m afraid that she is not ready for that ! I will know it in January, if it will be 2014... but i hope it will be 2015, because then i will have time for my budget !

Я думаю, что организуя PECM слишком часто:
1) потеряется их "значимость" и каждый год куда-то ездить большинство селикаводов не захочет, следовательно, масштаб мероприятия тоже уменьшится.
2) На качественную организацию такого мероприятия нужно время, следовательно, если времени мало - скорее всего пострадает качество.
3) Участники PECM2013 за год еще не успеют остыть и соскучится по PECM, а так же накопить финансов на очередное путешествие, и поэтому большинсво из них с большой долей вероятности - не поедет.
4) Концепция PECM - проводить его 1 раз в 2 года... Это уже традиция, зачем ее менять?

В общем, мое мнение, что друзьям из солнечной Италии не нужно спешить звать нас всех к себе... 2015 - Ок!

Тем более что никто не мешает придумать альтернативу и собираться на другое мероприятие с Селикаводами из ближнего зарубежья.

There was always attempt to manage PECM every year. In 2008 one guy from Croatia promised to make but we never heard a word from him again (so it failed)... in 2009 all decided to make another in 2011 in Poland. That decision was made in Greece already (so no debates about 2010). Discussion in 2011 on PECM forum (http://pecm.forumfree.it/?t=57325580) started with the same. PECM 2012 and PECM 2013. See the first post. So in fact it is not anything new .

That is exactly why I wrote about attendance. PECM is for me (and now after Riga is even more) about meeting friends. So as I read If more friend will be in Italy in 2015 I vote for 2015.
In terms of preparations... No one can make PECM like Latvians .

но конечно да. понимаю. деньги - это был первый резон почему ребята из Польский хотели сделать PECM нет в 2010 году но 2011том. не все могут поехать в отпуск на машине каждый год.

Anyway please continue in debate. I will talk to Wolfango to find how sure he is about the year (and meanwhile make some votes in that poll he created ). I starting to believe the change of year for PECM is more serious decision than it seemed...

Well, it would be more convenient for me to do this in 2015, but this not due to the distance or money, this is purely because we will have a baby this year.
But you never know might just be so fed up with work and stuff, that might just try to get away from this all .. to you and then to Italy.
Actualy stop in Czech Republic is a good idead - I like it.

А мне кажется,что встречаться раз в год,это лучше чем раз в два года! Можно РЕСМ устраивать раз в 2 года,а между РЕСМ встречаться еще раз,особо ничего не организовывая,просто встретиться в каком нибудь прикольном курортном месте,и вместе весело провести несколько дней! Естесственно,приехать по разным причинам смогут не все,но ведь дело добровольное... я думаю и каждый год если встречаться,то будет приезжать много народу,пусть и не так много как на РЕСМ...
